COD and BF3 cant even be compared, two diffrent games. When I want fast infantry combat COD is best, when I want big open battlefields BF3 is the clear choice.

After testing the BF3 open beta this looks realy outdated....
I think the game looks good on the PS3, it could be better but I am realy hoping the PC version wil have a few options to make the gfx better.
Im runnint it on max om my pc and it's nice but it is nothing as mind blowing as Dice has wanted us to belive.
Gonna be interesting to se the retail version, I just hope they dont pull a Crysis 2 and makes us have to wait for the advanced gfx in a later patch....
Dice may have pushed what they can do with their game engine on the PS3, but other games like Uncharted and Killzone proves that if a game engine is good enough it can make console games look incredible.

And it's a beta, some betas are almost perfect and others wil be full of bugs crawling up your ass.
And judging a game after played 1 map with 1 type of game mode is just silly...and you have the single player part also that wil probably rock most peoples socks of.
It just seams that you had hyped yourself so much up that when you realised it w...
Problem is ALOT of people do not understand what beta is..they think its a demo.
So yeah I think for a % of users the beta could hurt the sales.

My beta client do not revert back to medium og High settings when I pick Ultra. But in this build ultra dont give the best gfx, pick costum and cranq everythink to max.
But this is not DX11 from what I understand and to make a long story short, it wil get better for those with the hardware to back it up.
I have been testing the beta client on the PC and the PS3, I had just as much fun on both systems.
And ofc the PC version looks better on ultra, but I never thought "oh this looks ugly" while playing the PS3 version...on the contrary.
I thought this online pass was just for the online part og the game? Been so with other games, is this new batman game gonna have it for the single player part also?
