Joking aside, no, there is nothing surprising about this. I never expected it to outshine its predecessor but a mid 90's range was expected.
But why r u even talking about review aggregation? Some of the reviews are downright fanboy and pathetic. GotY? I don't see that happening at all. UC2 got most of the awards in 2009, UC3 will not get them for that reason. Just like SMG2 was the best game in 2010, but SMG already got most of the awards in 2007 so its sequel didn't get them. Either Portal 2, Arkham City or Skyward Sword so far.... Lets see how Skyrim fares B)
