There's a reason you haven't seen anyone have a positive reaction to the spoilers that's becasue those people are trying to spread the same narrative you are in an effort to smear the game.
I'm not a supporter of them at all and I'm still excited for the game and looking forward to playing it, its a day one for me regardless of the hate campaign but I'm capable of separating gaming from social politics, apparently other people can't.

Wow that is really impressive. I still say Fillion even though he's an older guy would still make a great Nathan Drake in a movie, he'd be far better then some of the people I've heard are supposed to be in the movie if they actually ever make it.

That's an excuse to get past the bigger issue here. Lots of people are complaining about TLOU 2 do to "social issues" and the inclusion of gay characters yet other games seem to get a pass for doing the same thing its not about what the game is or rather its a sequel or not its about outrage of an issue for one game and not the other. Those "disappointed" are those using unsubstantiated rumor and false narrative to support their smear campaign, they were people who had no intention of playing the game anyway so I wouldn't let it bother you too much.
Its odd becasue Microsoft announced 'Tell Me Why' and made a big deal out of the fact the main character is a trans person and their wasn't a peep out of any of you but you're all outraged that Ellie is gay, seems unsurprisingly selective.
