What decides a next generation is time in the console cycle when it was released. It can be a nes and still be next gen since hardware doesnt deside whats next gen or not.

Dude The gameplay mechanics from gears 1 to 3 are AMAZING differences. 3 has smoothed out all clunks in all aspects. You obviously havent played it and thus dont deserve an opinion.
So basically generic repetitive clunky gunplay (and lots of it) followed by a decent story and good cinematics followed by crappy annoying puzzles climbing....I played all 3 and it wasn't fun, ratchet and clank was fun, sly cooper was fun....uncharted honestly sucked.

Wow, way to be a dick, there isnt much value in reputation on both sides. Wether you get the number of trophies+level or whether your achivements are in straight up numbers it all means exactly the same thing. Tropies are not better than achievement and vice versa.
Cause reality really sucks and it keeps a calm center within me. Just want to forget about money troubles for a couple hours and play some rage or gears of war.

This generation may have its hiccups but there are just some games too good not to be a gamer for.
Yea pay $250 for a handheld when you already have a phone, I already hath to carry a freaking insulin pump And I can use my smartphone for gaming for those rare few minute waits while I have a pc, xbox, and ps3 waiting for me at home. A handheld over $120 seems crazy to me.

Thats implying everybody in the world has a decent connection. Cloid gaming will never take off until fiber optic cables become stand and when isp's stop becoming greedy assholes. If you have a good connect good for you, but you wouldbt know the problem.
What they need to do is vary the prices, its a win-win, if a game isnt that good it should be at most $30, more people will buy it and the developers profit from it. If its a big tittle then yea, ill pay $60. It shouldnt be defaulty $60 it should vary of quality

Meh cinematic gaming is an oxymoron, sure things were pretty too look at but so was gears 3 and i hear no one talk about that game the difference is gears of war was so much fun and had a lot of content, uncharted had a story that didnt make sense in the long run and gunplay that sucks, uf its going to be 80% shooting then atleast smooth it out.
