I'm hoping for a max £299 for the stand alone base unit, I fear anymore will be too much for average console player. £399 will probably get hardcore loyal fan base with a spike in sales but only for a short period of time. Console market is very different to the PC one, and consumers are sensitive to the pricing in comparison. SONY need to get the VR out en-mass - this will only be done by clever pricing, practical marketing and exposure. Software will then be a sustainable reve...
Sony are potentially in danger of being greedy - having such a large Ps4 install base, they need to have high volume of sales. $299 (249 UK pounds) as standalone maximum, or they are going to kill the goose that lays the golden egg. developers aren't going to commit long term if there is a small user base and limited sales.
@ jetlian how did I beat myself?
I was referring to the title of the awards not the nominees. If there was a MOWO awards, the community would be up in arms of the title brandishing it racist, irrelevant to any black or white nominees.
Unfortunately positive discrimination has got a grip on society, even the the police force has a Black Police Force Association in the UK, can you imagine if there was a white one?
To me everyone should be treat...
And I better add, white people do get nominated for MOBO's - it's the title of the awards I'm referring to.
With all the drama going off in the states at the moment (Oscars) about no black actors nominated for their roles and some deciding to boycott as a result. Black actors have won awards previously - it's based on their merits and performance - nothing else.
We have the MOBO awards in the UK, which is Music of Black Origin, and I don't see any white people getting their knickers in a twist over it and spitting their dummy out. Now if there was MOWO awards, what do you think woul...
Until Sony release prices, this is only speculation. They need to push this harder than anything they have released before, be very aggressive with the pricing ( and advertising) to get it into as many homes as possible. It will live or die by the quality of the experience.
Its MGS Ground Zero,
up on the other sites such as thesixthaxis
@kayoss - no need to apologise, thought that might be the case, but raised a smile!
@Kayoss: "PS Now is in its infantry"

Playstation Now support?
It seems that those who ordered the season pass and got the full game will now also get the season pass sent because of the mistake lol
I'm not certain but I would guess as it is the US version and not EU, it may be English only
Working from the UK if you set up a US PSN account:
easiest way is to buy instant gamestop gift card from Amazon US ($25). Make up an account for Gamestop.com, google a McDonalds address in the states. Then Buy with the the Gamestop card. It is a bit of a hassle, but ends up around £17.50 for the full game with a spare $5 for Gamestop in the future
@personman - I was actually replying to OpenGl to the comment above mine, nothing to do with the Thursday date.
I've still got a double cassette Walkman from the 80's - you could record from one side to the other on the go, still works now.
