The entitlement is off the charts lol.
There's no such thing as a free lunch.
It's a great game, my Japanese brothers and sisters don't realise what they're missing lol.
Your entitlement is off the charts.
I too am on (just above) minimum wage, only work 4 days a week, have a young son, all the usual bills, rent, gas, electric, phone, internet, various subscriptions. Yet despite this i have a PS5, Series S, PS Portal, 55in Sony Oled (x2), and if I REALLY wanted to I could afford the PS5 Pro. People are out here acting like they're living on bread and soup with holes in their shoes.
Older gamers will remember something called the Neo-Geo that release in 1990, now THAT was an expensive console.
People will buy whatever they want to buy, you're entitled to an opinion but at the end of the day that's all it is. I'd but the PS5 Pro over a similarly priced PC because I prefer the console gaming experience, it's as simple as that.
It's faux outrage.
PC gaming and console gaming are different things, many people prefer the plug in and play approach of console gaming, PC enthusiasts like to research and set up up their ideal system. My brother has a powerful PC and I honestly hate the endless tweaking and adjusting of settings when watching him play. I don't like the gaming chair and monitor aspect either, I like my couch and Sony Oled. I'd choose the PS5 Pro over a similarly priced PC regardless of which is more powerful.
Describing this console as 'trash' just makes you look like a Sony hater.
As someone on here already pointed out, GTA6 is in the horizon. There are plenty of people out there who earn enough to drop this kind of money on new tech who'll want to play the very best version of that game, if Sony can market that game alongside this console it'll sell based on that alone.
I think it'll reach the numbers Sony and hoping for, don't expect it to be in many kids bedrooms though.
The price of the new Series X should've definitely have been a clue lol. I was expecting around £650 so it's slightly more expensive than I thought it would be. I'll consider getting one nearer the time of release, I just hope we don't see a similar thing with scalpers as we did with the initial PS5.
The people who buy it are the people who want it and can afford it, simple really.
Strange that it was banned.
I'm from the UK and I'm playing it, I wish more people here had supported it.
It's a high price but if Sony get the marketing rights to GTA6 this thing will shift in large numbers.
It's 2024, gotta tick those boxes 🤷♂️
I have the physical copy of Pacific Drive in my backlog still sealed.
Simple question, do you want the PS5 Pro and can you afford the PS5 Pro? If the answer is yes then the PS5 Pro is for you.
Do you NEED the PS5 Pro? Let me answer that for everyone in the room. No, you absolutely do not.
Stop with the entitlement and move on....
