You can mute them instantly too, PSN is kind of slow and sluggish right now but that's because we're dealing with 512mb of RAM.
Once you feel that DDR5 your menu will pop up instantly and you can do what you want without even thinking about it.
The sound quality through PSN will be increased due to increased RAM speed. You're in for a treat.

This console would cost PC gamers upwards of $4000 to compete with. Unless you're rich you may as well just hang up your mouse and keyboard and Play B3yond with the rest of us real gamers.
Blizzard just wants to bring Diablo 3 to PS4 to see the game completely maxed out with PS4's RAM. The game could always be stretched further graphically and PC clearly isn't up to Blizzard's standards anymore.
I'm sure from now on all future Blizzard games will most likely be PS4 exclusive due to the DDR5 under the hood. No reason for them not to be.
Yeah Mario and Zelda barely even sell anymore. Everyone is sick of them and Halo is pretty much dead in the water.

Once Infamous: Second Son comes out and just blows everyones mind with PS4's 8GB ram it's game over for everyone. Valve might as well just pack up and leave too because computers won't be able to catch up.

PC gamers don't know what's coming with their pathetic DDR3 RAM. PS4 will surpass whatever Microsoft is working up and all PC games graphically for years. This console is future proof.
Microsoft won't be able to keep up with the core audience when Sony has taken the lead with how much power they're supplying true gamers.

It might end up being PS4 exclusive. Since Sony decided to put so much RAM inside of it they might not want to be held back by slow DDR3 PC RAM and whatever sad RAM M$ is going to use.
Smartest bet would be to just take complete advantage of Sony's unified 8GB DDR5 memory and create the ultimate Creed.
PS2 games will run smoother with 8GB of unified ram under the hood. Sony knows what they're doing.
I'm glad Sony went with 8GB ram. Everyone else including computer gamers will be trying to catch up for years.
Ubisoft should realize that Sony future proofed this console until at least 2020 when they announced that it had 8GB of DDR5 UNIFIED RAM under the hood.
I expect this generation to last a MINIMUM of 7 years.
