They dropped the 20GB price to $300, introduced the 60GB at $350. Everything else stayed the same.

Man, MS should have realized they would have needed much more space than a DVD could provide, given that we are in the age of hi-def gaming and hi-rez textures. BR may be slow, but at least Sony saw the need for more space.
