Plus there's at least a sure western audience for Crackdown. Scalebound was pretty much hardcore Japan as you can get without anime eyes

Peter left, Fable 3 was a bust, Legends was not the typical game in context of the franchise and the free-to-play market is crowded
I don't think they'd kill Crackdown, it's one of those franchises connected strongly with the xbox brand
The problem is that Japan just isnt a great return for them. For all we know, Scalebound may simply have been a utter mess, so they cut their loses. I think we'll find out in time tbh
it'll be interesting to see if any info leaks out in the next few months over the game's cancellation
Paladins is legit fun, some of the concepts are even better than overwatch
