Mediocre games being hyped to death via the internet?

Large part of the attraction of broodwar was that online play was free. For me this was even the reason to purchase a PC in the first place. If they charge for sc II they can keep that cr@p. After playing the beta i have to say the game is nothing special anyway, unlike the first starcraft when it was released.

Xbox and 360 are made of pc components. Even the mainboard design is similar. Consoles used to be unique in hardware design and they totally lost that charm. Why the hell should i bother with outdated pc graphics when i have a pc thats running circles around them? Also it would be nice to have some unique games on consoles again that dont all look, play and feel the same. In other words keep your 3d sandbox bs, it reeks already a little.
There are hardly any original or outstanding games. Since its all 3d sandbox games on pc hardware they all look the same and feel the same. This generation is all about marketing hype and pseudo movie stories. Nothx, you can keep that sh}t.
One could always build a decent gaming rig for around 800 or less. If you are clever you even can build a faster pc as described. No big deal and this is hardly news, but ultimate?

Crapness! I was actually looking forward this title.
Apart from my undying love for AMD i am never going to buy an ATI card again! The 3D performmance in many aplications is a sad joke. The 2D performance isnt anything impressive either and the drivers are a total nightmare. NOTHX.
