I would be very glad as the devs would make more money and thus we would maybe see more titles and better games. I hardly ever buy second hand goods including games, DVD's and music CD's.

Who really cares about the time as long as the next PS gen are a huge step above the rest I am prepared to wait, my PS3 is going nowhere anytime soon and will for sure run alongside the PS4 just like my PS2 is still accompanying the PS3.
Quality, look at the PS3 exclusives as well as the media capabilities BD and then there is PSn+

The PC always raced ahead of the console with graphics, BUT you need an expensive graphics card to achieve that quality at high settings.
The beauty of a console is just that, that it work and works well mostly. I have a PC for gaming as well as a console and definitely will still buy a next gen console in future.

As I stated in another thread, I cannot fathom the Vita negativity. I see the Vita as an extension to the PSx and not as an replacement. Sure the Vita is a console on its own but I for one will buy it to extend my PS3 not to replace it. I will definitely buy one in future. I just hope that Sony lives up to the promise that the portable devices like Vita, Xperia and other Sony devices will still integrate with the fixed consoles when the PS4 and beyond are released.

IMHO the Japanese consumers are technically more savvy when it comes to purchasing technology. They know the quality revealed by technical specifications when they see them.
Same with American consumers supporting or choosing the Xbox360 above the PS3. So lets rather look at the rest of the world then to determine the ridiculous notion of a console "winner". (wink)

Lets wait and see the "end of life" sales figures of the PS3 against the Xbox360 (wink, wink). Going by the PS2 strength (which is still going) you are in for even an bigger surprise son.

I never made any choice of purchase on what others say or just because something is popular in my life so Google's "predictions" will never sway me! The fact that I decided to buy a PS3 instead of a Xbox based on what the technology offered was proof of that and now that decission seems well vindicated.
