You make a good point, but what are forget is the cost of making AAA exclusives and the return on your money. The Halo 3 exclusive alone (odst and halo3) has sold more copies than the PS3s top 5 exclusives that's two games and the related cost vs 5 games and their related cost. Besides, PS3 fans called ODST a flop, yet it has sold more copies than any PS3 exclusive thus far.

I think the halo story was enough for a FPS, I and in FPS to shoot up sh!t not to be bored by a bunch of long cut-scenes. It's difficult to make a good story and still keep the entire game under 10-15 hours.
