The Killzone franchise will always be a dud in my eyes -- It lacks lasting appeal, gameplay, and art direction. It sacrifices performance for pretty graphics. In previous installments, Devs introduced a weighted aim and accelerated control for a "realistic feel," when it's actually an excuse to prevent screen tearing at 30 fps.
This game will be dead just like its little Vita brother before we know it.
The BSD license =/= GPL. With the the BSD license, Sony can modify the free code and not contribute back to the community. The article is misleading.

MS probably paid for the 360 port? R* knows the GTA name will sell well alone and probably grabbed a check from MS to land that Windows 8 exclusivity.

You'd be silly to think you can pay a flat rate to buy the whole game. That's not how F2P works. It's more like a service package with a set of features. Think of it like Comcast Xfinity: Internet, Digital TV, or for bundle both for X dollars.
