The fps market is harsh bro.
Make a good shooter like singularity but dont get enough media attention and you're screwed. Problem is that if you make another installment in a renowned series you'll sell millions and people won't neccessarily demand quality. That's why first person shooters see little innovation these days yo.
First of all - good article. There are too few of these. But no. While I'm sceptic too the Vitality Sensor too, it serves to actually measure the player's stress level, to see how the player reacts to what's happening on screen. Music serves to affect them. So instead of guessing the player's reaction to the game, Nintendo can use it to affect the game directly.
That's the magic of innovative controllers. I only wish there were more of them :/

If you were to remove a decimal in 4,5 you'd end up with 5.0. So 4/10 is less specific than 40/100, even though they're both of the same value.
I'm not saying that this can be applied to reviews and all that, but it is a mathematical fact.

You don't have to assign a score, but it would be clever and all since people tend to actually NOT read the review. AND, you have to consider who this game is made for. You don't review a shooter and conclude with "I don't like shooters - 4/10". You review it for people who would think about buying shooters in the first place, am I right?
