It's bad because more and more core games are foregoing retail and coming only to XBLA, I wanted Alan Wake AN at retail.
It's bad because some countries have extortionary bandwidth prices (like South Africa, my home) where just 20Gb of bandwidth will cost you $350.
It's bad because they are trying to eliminate used sales which means they control the price of the games forever.
Microsoft is really pushing for XBLA to be as popular/profitable as retail aren't they? I gotta say, as a gamer, I don't like it.
Nintendo has plenty of exclusives and yet Mario is alot bigger than any SONY or Microsoft exclusive. What's your excuse there?
Find me a PS3 exclusive that scored under 80 and I'll show you at least 100 comments defending the game on how it is underrated or how biased the reviewers are or how difficult the game is, how it isn't for noobs hence the low scores from unskilled reviewers.
My point is, if it is a PS3 exclusive, people here will love it and want to have its children even before they play it.

Halo is more popular than GT this gen. Sorry but its the truth. No GT game this gen has outsold Halo Reach, let alone the 14.5 million selling Halo 3
