In Vegas they use chips to get people to not associate it with money, this is factually proven that you will spend more because chips dont have the same effect on a person as actual money. When gambling if you were to be putting dollars down you would be a lot more aware of how much you are spending, but with those chips all nice and pretty it makes it feel like monopoly money...
