When a game developer creates a game he obviously is thinking worldwide.And he is going to be more excited about the console with the bigger install base on all countries not just the US.

Honestly, would you trust all of your movies to a HDD????
They would have to improve the quality a lot until people would trust their entire library to a device that dies after a certain amount of time/use.

I will tell you what, this article is for Xbot 360 owners, the so called Hard Core Gamers, they are the kind of people who play games for 12 hours straight without getting up their asses.
And about everybody else???? I think Wii owners do a lot of exercise with that controller and Ps3 owners have a life and don't spend all their money and time on games, they are safe.
I am part of the clan that does not like to be fooled and robbed by powerful corporations with no regard for customers. Companies that respect my purchase and make my money worth.
Now, if you say that MS respects your money, then you know jack s_h_i_t, go kill yourself.
Customers are still waiting for MS to fix their console (as you know a lot of 360 sold now are just refurbished and dying the same death) but when MS finally fix the damn thing it will be too late, Sony will lower their prices when they see fit, the PS3 will have a huge amount of great games and by then $199 on a Premium 360 will sound like a robbery on play daylight.
MS screwed this one over, maybe next gen. =D
Don't distort my words. I don't know the PS2 failure rate but sure was absolutely nothing compared to the 3FixMe.
Even the best quality products fail, how often it happens, well that is the point.
A lot of customer deserve the failure, they don't know how to use their products: dirt, power oscillations, too cold, too hot... thats is why most hardwares go nuts.
