In the article it said MS in 2005 gave new power cords for the 360. That is false. They gave those to use on the Xbox console the first one not the 360. Second that guy knew the system had the red rings don't you think he should have unplug the power supply from the outlet? Sorry this happen to this guy but sometimes people make mistakes and this seems to be user error.
