Xbox 360 broke 80+ million in oct 2013.
It took the PS3 until November to get to 80 million.
The 8th gen started in November 2013.
The PS3 lost the 7th gen, incurring massive loses. Sony also lost a ton of marketshare to Microsoft after PS2. Doesn't matter if it started a year or was priced at $600. That was Sony's fault. They don't get a mulligan just bexause you say they should.
1. You've been able to get Xbox Live Gold for $30 for the past several months. Also didn't PS+ go up in price?
2. Shareplay isn't available for all titles.
3. Bigger selection of games - yea, I own over 25+ games and doubt I even have more than 1% of the entire XB1 catalog. This is a non-factor.

I don't know about Sony but Microsoft's Tsunoda went on to say that allowing people to play games "wherever they want, on whatever device they choose, and making that easy" is Microsoft's long-term goal for the overall Xbox ecosystem.
So I see Microsoft's Surface team building the next "console".

And Microsoft giving PC enthusiast the ability to play Xbox game...

The Order sucked. bloodborne and mlb show were your only good early year games. Until dawn is the most recent good game, and there is nothing that screams must have on PS4 until March 2016.

You can't say if Usain Bolt started faster or had an extra 50m he'd win the race. The length of the race is 100m, if he crosses the line in 3rd thats called a 3rd place finish.
What proof do you have it outsold the 360? The last Official update was on a Sony blog that specified 80 million sold in November 6, 2013. The Xbox 360 had already hit 80+ million on Oct 17, 2013.
