Is there a "next gen" on PC? You just get better hardware, and usually the games scale back for older devices to some level.
They will price it $400 and take a small loss. The majority of sales come from software and licensing anyway.
This isn't like the earlier gens with highly customized CPU/GPU memory setups. They will be using off the shelf x64 parts. The software is already there, Microsoft just needs to get the hardware in line.
I don't think Xbox Next will be incremental like the Neo. Phil says he is not interest in .5 iterations. They will go full blown next gen.
Frostbite3 isn't going to be 1080p on any system right now.
Where are your numbers. Xbox 360 dominated even with less global numbers. In North America alone, the biggest gaming region in the world, 360 obliterated the PS3.
