They had an average of 91 on metacritic with crysis. If it's as good as the original they should be safe.

now all it needs is the most realistic piss and you'd have a fun game

Are you serious? I'm pretty sure they meant the Call of duty and halo series.

at least we know what audience they're going for ... not that the latest MP footage wasn't clear enough (MW with nanosuita).

SO much for making this feel like its own game (which crysis 1 / wars managed to do to a certain extent). But hey, why try your own thing and improve on it when you can see what's popular and replicate that?

there always needs to be a competition

so those links have zero value to me.

Classifying sandbox as a genre is being flat out wrong because the whole thing is stupid to the point of disbelief. The layout of the maps/levels in a game has no connection to the genre the game belongs in.

GTA is as open ended as oblivion. Does that mean oblivion belongs in the 'sandbox' genre?

No. It's still an RPG just like GTA is still an action game.

dumbass

plus 3 endings

5752d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

it had its ups and downs compared to crysis but it's still the closest thing to it

- the levels were more open ended and you could choose your inventory and one of two drop of points before each mission
- more focus on vechicles (including mechs)
- more super powers
- inventory system

it was a pretty good yet underrated game

the first one was the crysis of its time (in terms of gameplay)

he's funny.

Does it come in a bundle with starcraft: ghost?

"I’m Dave, writer on X360 since mid 2006 and follower of all things Microsoft related."

that explains why he has hallucinations about mass effect's influence in a game that clearly has none. But I guess when you've only played RPGs on the 360 every game seems like it was inspired by fable, oblivion or mass effect

It's not like the gothic franchise has been around for almost a decade.

This guy who wrote the article is clueless and I've seen better predictions from gypsies

5757d ago 10 agree3 disagreeView comment

the first game was great but there was enough room for improvement. Hopefully this will be closer to gothic 2
