This is what excites fans about nintendo entering hd era. Imagine starfox, metroid, f-zero, zelda, and smash brothers all in 1080p hd on a console that is at LEAST two times more powerful than this gen.
True 1080p with all graphical enhancements and 60fps... Is at this point something only the Wii U can do as a console. Ps360 are powerful console but they can't do that yet...now there successors will do that with ease. I'm so looking forward to next gen for all gamers. It's going to be fun to see what developers can do with the power at their disposal. wii U day one like all other Nintendo consoles. Happy gaming people.
2 controller support was confirmed a couple months back... Not by Nintendo but multiple sources in the know. No way Nintendo launches this console with support for only one controller it makes no sense.

Well the 3ds has taken off an proven to be a third party hardcore powerhouse. Seems most engines are easily ported to the system. 3ds is going to have a good year. Can only hope the same for vita.bwd need to stick together as cell phone games are trying to creep in.

Just remember this... Nintendo is trying TL hit a home run with the Wii U. If everything goes as planned this will be one of the best consoles of all time. Like snes, ps2, Wii U.
exactly think of software more than hardware when I say SNES... Also remember I said with a modern day twist.
I actually know a couple of people who have gone hands on with final dev kits and also the exclusives that's coming to Wii U. This console is gojng to be nothing like the wii. Simply put this will he a modern day snes... That's what nintendo was going for with a modern day and time twist.
