dude I was saying the same thing earlier bout dreamcast and 360 what sucks is I used to own a dreamcast- ended up selling it for a ps2.
glad i bought the ps3 which required no add ons!
not so much the only game that I play a lot of COD4 Its cool but ive had to lay off of it for a few days. I cant wait for gran turismo and a few others like GTA to release.
well even if the sales are off a bit- ill still be at home loving my ps3 while u will be at the store forking out more money for a new and improved xbox and the add ons-so which customers are the winners? huh

I love My PS3! I dont think that the new sale of blu ray for xbox could help out that much.... only time will tell.
it was a very big gamble for ps to go with blue ray - I'm glad that they did I am so happy with my system, I wish that they would come out with games a lil quicker though. I've read a story about Xbox a min ago and it was saying that that they are going to offer the blue ray player soon! well that didnt take them long at all- looks like they want to steal sales from sony HUH.
Please dont be fooled MS is not some stupid company, didnt take them long to realize BR disc was going to win. I bought a PS3 mid of last year and wouldnt go back ,I love it plays games- in HD, plays BRD, no fees for online play, surf net, good price compared to other brd players i could go on and on about what I like about it. wish they had more titles out for games... i can wait.
Blue ray Disc was a great investment for sony with PS3 in my opinion ,even if it was late getting to the shelves. for those of you that want to go purely to downloads keep in mind thats still pretty far away to going mainstream. 100% uncompressed audio and video are the way to go on the blue ray disc. My home theater looks great with the PS3 playing br-discs on my sony 1080p tv, so I highly suggest ps3 for anyone that loves to watch movies or play games in HD.
Sweet hope to see prices of blue-ray come down even more. I'll continue to shop on Amazon for now. oh for the unfortunate that invested in hd players you can always give to an older family member that could use for reg. dvd titles. Lata D
