I can tell you the 3D on 3DS isn't even close to the one on the TVs even old games like God of war PSP collection looks new and fresh specifically the burning buildings with all the smoke and ash flying at you. Don't judge 3D by the horrible job Nintendo did try the real deal on a TV.
I don't get it he (the writer ) would prefer resistance 3 over gears of war 3because of the controller having him duck when he try to sprint and he gave gears of war 3 the win because online.
