I doubt SSB will be out in the spring. Nintendo is releasing Donkey Kong in Feb, Mario Kart after that, and SSB too, all within a matter of a month or two of each other? Not going to happen. They are not going to risk people saying they are having another drought. I am betting SSB will not be out till Fall. I HOPE it comes out sooner, but Nintendo has become predictable.
That debate is old. No Nintendo's tech is not old and not last gen. Sheesh, where were you 6 months ago when that debate was put to rest by multiple developers saying that it is powerful compared to at the time current gen. Wii U is much more capable than PS360. Just not as capable as PS4, but that is not the point.
As of right now, my PS4 is not blowing my mind, however when I picked up Zombi U, BOPS2, and NSMBU, I was impressed right off the bat with Wii U.
Who Needs a DVD player? Seriously? Most people have more than one, and more people stream now rather than put a DVD in. If I do watch a hard copy of something its Blu Ray.
I am sure it will look better running, but I have to say some of the pictures are very muddy, and reminds me of RE4 opening. No I am not trolling. It is just very grey, or washed out looking. Again I am sure my mind will be changed, once I am playing it.
What do you mean "if it continues to suck" There are a ton of great games out now for Wii U and allot more coming before the Holiday. Also the ports of Splinter Cell and Rayman are better on Wii U than other consoles.

I agree with you on the PS4, but I had to get my Wii U too. I like the 1st party games, but even me being a huge fanboy realize that I am going to have to pick up a PS4 for different ports. Sony though in the past 3 to 4 years has really come along way in terms of 1st party games :) So It is a win win for me. I have only had my PS3 for about 3 years, but plan on a PS4 ASAP.

Lego City, Monster Hunter, Trine 2(Wii U has the BEST version), Zombi U, NSMBU, RE HD (Wii U has the best version), Rayman exclusive demo that you could literally spend hours and hours playing, Need For Speed is amazing on Wii U there are many more, Oh and yeah its BACKWARDS compatible and upscales older games so add about 50 more AAA Games. So what do you mean there are no Games?

Agree with some of this, but Sega has a great deal with Nintendo 3 exclusives, Ubisoft is fully supporting Nintendo and they have hinted at Zombi U 2. We have the Eternal Darkness successor in the works for Wii U and PC. No question there are some great 3rd party exclusives coming to Wii U, and FINALLY some AAA 1st party games coming this year. It is going to be a good 3 and 4th quarter for Wii U owners.

You are right, and of coarse the fanboy's disagree. It is sad. You can put the numbers right in front of them and they will still disagree. I do not wish anything bad for any system, but I think this (next) gen is going to have a slower start than past gens. Gamers will buy them right away but the average person will not. We only have a few more months to wait and see. I am interested to see where PS4 and One are 6 months after launch. That should shut some fanboys up.
I have the game, and it is certainly better than 5 or 6. It is not like the graphics are THAT bad. I have it for Wii U and I like the on the fly weapons switch and map on my gamepad.
No worries on my end, Wii U and PS4 all the way. I didn't want a 1stbox anyway. Seems like others that were fans are feeling the same way. I am just curious if they will have another console burn up constantly for 2 years like 360's RROD.

This is an issue? Virtual Console? Really? I have all of the titles I downloaded from virtual console on Wii, that I COULD TRANSFER already on my Wii U. Without the perks of coarse, but really, and Oh yeah the virtual console is such a big turn off, gosh how must you feel about the other consoles not allowing ANY backwards compatibility at all, and also wanting to charge for used game...Go ahead and write about that. Really? and you know all of this because you have a Wii U? Online is far from a joke. It is better than on my PS3. What I think is a Joke is Microsoft Xbox One, and Internet Explorer. Who uses that anymore? Unless you have a Wii U or have spent allot of time with one at home and connected to the net, why make comments like that? Nintendo Online is also FREE I might add.

There are plenty of bundles out for Wii U. $259 8G Skylanders Wii U with Nintendoland.
Wii was more than a fad. There are some EPIC games out on the system. Mario Kart Sold 34.26 Million, I would say that is more than a fad. Also the Wii has 5 out of 10 of the top selling video games OF ALL TIME. That is on ANY system ever made. Here is your Wiki.
