When I first got Mass Effect 2 on PC I could not play it, the jaggies were intolerable, but they patched it two days later and forcing 32x smoothed everything

the whole game-made-for-everyone crap is disturbing
there are still some devs that dont compromise their vision for the almighty dollar and we get rare gems like Demos Souls, The Witcher 1 and 2, Oblivion, but sadly most games are made to try to fit every person imaginables taste into them

steam is by far better than any other multiplayer gaming service offered, the sales, the voice chat, the support, the mod integration, the indie portal, the auto updates, the pre-loading of game to play at midnight on launch, the customer centric focus.
There are so many more things to be said but why bother, nothing can equate the awesomeness that steam has become.

i actually have my consoles in the bedroom hooked up to a 40" 1080p because they look like SHIT on anything bigger....you can only strech sub-hd/720p so far

what they need to do is over compensate with cheaper hardware, they skimped on ram last gen (360 and ps3) and skimped on vram and spent way too much on processor(ps3 more than 360)
