This article is so full of Fail!
Firstly the article is written about Crysis 3... 2013 not 2007!
...Then only 1 of the images are of Crysis 1 - which gets the year right but its a bullshot. As good as Crysis 1 looks it doesn't look that good, in fact not nearly that good, I know because I'm playing through it again at the moment on my beast PC!

I completely agree with what he's saying but a 3 or 3.5/5 would be more realistic I think.
Your average being 2.5/5 this game being slightly better than average, so a 3/5 or even maybe a 3.5/5 would be fair.

EA have always been console first & have always been the first to push consoles of any generation there's nothing new in what they're doing.
To any real old school gamers you will know that EA was once a console only developer. FIFA etc came late to pc & have always up until the last 2-3 years used a previous gen out of date engines. They've always used their priority engines on consoles when available.

Its not that big an improvement over what we already have, biggest thing was the animation but we all know that's were the big improvements have been over the last year & also EA recently spent a fortune on a new MoCap facility that they made a big deal about, that they will be using across their entire range of games.
I only see a very small 2-4 seconds worth of pre-render in that clip...
Only things I'm interested by are the design itself I think the console looks really good - the controllers look horrible though. The 'Snap' feature & the impulse triggers sound very good though.
The rest of the system as a whole sounds really annoying.
As it stands at the moment from what I've seen, I wont be buying one.

People who do all the things you've mentioned are like it or not the minority. It doesn't make them wrong in any way but they will never compare market-wise to the greater majority than the newer more advanced cars, films & games etc..
You cant really call it immaturity, people don't want to buy an out of date product especially when products of the same nature are due to be released that promise incredible new features & technology.
It should of been common sense to make a higher spec machine especially after the profit they built off the original Wii. There was always going to be too big a margin between technologies for Wii U to even consider competing.
