Looks awesome, I'm glad they've taken a side step with the theme keeping it at least a little fresher!
I've criticised the game a lot but to be fair I would say its true score is more pushing for an 8 but Ubisofts public repetitive lying for sales has clearly knocked a few points off here which is understandable.
You can't blame people for Ubisoft pushing graphics as the main focal point & then lying over & over again to its customers to gain pre-orders.
Fact is the game would do a lot better without Ubisofts BS to the same people they expect to get paid from. They shot themselves in the foot with this one, but alas I don't see them learning from this unless it kick-starts proper regulation of the legality of the gaming industry feeding customers false details to pre s...
...Care to explain what part is conflicting??
Been playing it on PC for the past week & despite my first impressions being bad, the games not that bad. Yes it's disappointing as a 'next-gen' game but forgiving the controls, driving & severe graphics downgrade the game does have some good moments.
One of the games that proved just how important graphics are to a game.
When I first played it after it was released on PC in its broken state I hated the game for the first week of playing it. The gameplay was the same whether the graphics were broken or not but the game just felt horrible. Once the game was fixed I went back to it & started from the beginning & wow what I complete different game it was with fixed graphics, I loved it!!
Online was co...
Thats just part of the game its supposed to be there but there's a graphical glitch that doesn't layer properly & also doesnt remove it when its supposed to. It's buggy, that's all there is to it, I know because I'm half way through the game.
It's not a piracy measure, the games buggy as hell. If you turn graphics down & restart it'll work fine.
it has a habit of making all the textures transparent & creating alot of graphical errors like going all pixaly & not applying the layers correctly.
Nvidia should be releasing a new driver soon which should have better optimisation but I guess, we'll prob have to wait for an updated patch from Ubi as well.
No. No. No. How can anyone possibly think NFC is of any importance in gaming. It's a useless technology for gaming & its chasing things like this that are causing Nintendo to fail!
Nintendo just stop with the silly gimmicks & get back to gaming... You know, that industry that you create products for!!??
I'm hoping for something big from E3 for the Vita as it seems to be fading away at the moment.
...What are you talking about, since when have I ever been a Sony fanboy???
What version of the game are you playing!!??
I'm playing on Ultra settings & have played up to Act 2 of the game so far & the only thing that is impressive about this game is the depth of the profiling & variety. There is absolutely nothing impressive about the graphics at all, the AI is glitchy, the game is buggy as hell & controls are terrible.
What exactly is so technically impressive to you??
Yea Ultra textures, It's pretty choppy, playable though. Ive got games that look better & play much better so it's mainly an optimisation issue so hopefully it will clear up & perform better in future patches & an updated Nvidia driver.
It really is though the controls that let it down the most! left stick click to reload, RT to shoot & to run?? A/Cross to duck/cover, B/Circle to jump/climb. 3 different button selections for left handed gamers but your...
It's not crap..... It's not great either so far though!
I think it's mainly let down because of the driving & the strange controller setup but I'm only like about 4 main missions & 4 side missions into it so far so I wont cast my judgement too soon regarding gameplay.
The graphics are certainly not up to ANY version that was shown to the public in trailers. The fact Ubisoft took a snipe at other open-world games for being lifeless is ...
I'm currently playing the PC version on a i5 4.4ghz, GTX760, 8 GB RAM & you'll be either happy or angry to know that 'Ultra' settings look pretty much the same as PS4. To me the whole thing is very disappointing!
Playing it on the PC now. Graphically its very poor, reminds me of Max Payne but no where near as good & not very well optimised. I have i5 @ 4.4ghz with GTX760 & 8GB RAM & although its playable on ultra it seems to stress load the gfx card in stages.
The UI is pretty distracting as well there's way too much text & garbage that fills the screen way to often & it's buggy as hell. The controls are awful also, If your really interested in it then cons...
Reminded me of Black Mesa.
Imagine how HL could of looked if released nowadays....mmmm
Ouch, no wonder they didn't want to release this alongside GTA5. Just imagine how bad it used to look if this is how it looks now!
The comments above are truly laughable!
I really cant wait for Rockstar to release GTA5 next-gen & show these amateurs up!
...& yet there's still people claiming this is the best looking game released to-date - People never fail to amaze me!
