I'd say I'm about 2-3 hours in & im not enjoying it at all. I've heard it's a really slow burner & a few people have mentioned the beginning is boring. So I'm sticking with it & I'm just hoping it gets better because at the moment I can't shake the overwhelming sense of laziness.
These perfect review scores are ridiculous though. I won't be visiting those sites again.
I see Pete Hinds & Randy Pitchford both attend the same school of morals & decency..
Is it worth it? I'd pick it up for £20 on console but Im holding off for £15 on PC.
Seems a fair score considering the bugs & framerate issues. The score can always be update once it is patched.
These 10/10 scores for a game that publicly is known to have quite severe issues is ridiculous & should be blacklisted.
If you were going to go down that road why would you not just go for a Nvidia shield. The Apple TV is a worthless device. At least you get a proper open media device with the shield. Not only a proper full local game streaming device.
I don't agree. I hate the cheesy, wonky voice over that doesn't fit, but that's a personal opinion. Other than that I think the dialogue tries really hard to make the subject matter more complicated than it actually is which makes it come across as quite pompous & unnecessary.
The atmosphere however is outstanding & its standout feature.
Just installed it & luckily I'm still not forced to use the unnecessary crap, so all good.
I'm waiting for the NX. I may pick up an XBone once they release the slim but I'm in no rush.
?? How the hell does that even work?
I dont think there's any game where it's DLC outprices the actual game. Therefore every single person who has bought the game would of had to buy every single piece of DLC available...
I'm tired so maybe I'm not thinking straight but I smell BS.
For the life of me I can't understand why season 2. Am I the only one who thinks that's a bit naughty?
You can't exactly skip season 1 so it's kind of saying you have to buy season 1 or lose out on one of your games this month.
... And is there anyone that actually believes PSN rankings???
It's like PSN store reviews. Even the worst, terrible games are still rated at least 4.5 out of 5. There's no one that actually thinks they're true figures is there!?
Let's put it this way, is there a single person here that has bought them or even knows someone that has?
Never expect it. Always complain that's the only possibility we have to force devs to get rid of the problem. We shouldn't of allowed it to become the norm. A product should never be sold until it's complete.
Yea it's kind of just an extended demo really. I wouldn't recommend to pay over £4. It's attention to little details though & the mature topic that I've never seen a game take before. The actual "bad guys" are really cheesy but still manage to be creepy.
It's a game I found myself thinking I don't understand why this is freaking me out. It shouldn't but it's a testament to how good the atmosphere & tension is. It's very much a...
Completed it in 2 hours but I thought it was awesome!
Rarely does a game spook me but this had me thinking I was seeing things in shadows & street lights were eyes... Also checking my controller...
Recommend everybody try it if they get it cheap. It is only 2 hours though & there's not any real replay value but it is great!
Just played 'The Park'. WOW, if you thought SOMA did it right then try that game. I felt proper creeped out for the first time in a long time. The atmosphere & tension is amazing. So many great little touches. The fear factor isn't really the scares at all it's the tension building.
Only took about 2 hours to complete but it's actually left me really thinking about it. Despite the short length it's already beat SOMA for me.
Just played 'The Park'. Only took about 2 hours to complete but WOW!
Beats SOMA hands down.
SOMA does a truly awesome job at doing atmosphere right. However everything else falls flat.
Although I'm holding judgement on story as I've not completed it yet. So far though it's trying a little to hard to over complicate it in order to make you think it's an infinitly deep story. Which it isn't, however again I've heard the twist at the end improves it.
It's certainly not scary though at all for actual scares it completely reli...
Really Looking forward to Titanfall 2. We'll all get to play it this time.
For only gaming. With the industry in it's current staleness there is absolutely no reason why your OS, software & games will struggle with 8GB. 16GB makes absolutely no difference & is currently completely unnecessary.
Unless devs start making PC games properly again instead of ports.
Please explain a single thing that is next-gen about this game?
I'm only a few hours in but I'm yet to see, hear or find anything at all.
The graphics, dialogue, AI, animation, story branching everything I find sub par & not just marginally. More than shocked by the review scores it's been getting.
More than anything im sick & tired of having to restart the game due to my gun & pip-boy constantly going invisible. The f...
