Valve and DICE would be tied I would say, great post launch support.
@Perkel
No idea what you just tried to articulate.
Beautiful
"No, the better question is: how much should a PUBLISHER get paid off a game? They're the ones that get all the money. Devs see some of that money, while retailers see pennies on the dollar. GameStop charges exorbitant amounts on used games because they'd be out of business PERIOD if they only sold new games. Remember: a retailer buys new copies from the publishers first, and must then recoup those losses when we buy the games."
So by your logic super market...
Sigh...you don't understand what I mean by your Origin account being deleted after 2 years of inactivity.
YOUR ACCOUNT IS DELETED IF YOU CREATE A ORIGIN ACCOUNT AND HAVE ***ZERO*** GAMES ON IT. IF YOU HAVE NOT BOUGHT ONE SINGLE GAME ON THAT ACCOUNT AND IT'S EMPTY. OVER A 2 YEAR PERIOD OF IT BEING EMPTY WITH NO GAMES, It will be deleted.
IF YOU HAVE GAMES ON YOUR ACCOUNT PURCHASED AND YOU ARE INACTIVE FOR 2 YEARS YOUR ACCOUNT WILL NOT BE DELETED BECAUS...
@gamerdriod
Sigh...wrong again gamingdroid.
Singleplayer is untouched. It is only the multiplayer that is affected by a online pass. Stop making the online pass out to be worse then it seems.
You are not good at trolling btw.
@gamingdroid
"- online passes
- the notion of deleting your Origin account with all your games after 2-years of inactivity
- the ability to be banned from all your games on Origin if EA disapproves of your comment
- the ability to spy and record information about your PC and share it with third party
- sequelitis with their sports franchise"
Are you a moron or what?
Every post you make is always misin...
Good luck booting the pirated clone through Origin and through battle log. You need to do both to play single player and multiplayer.
There won't be a crack by the time the game is released, it's pointless. Buy the damn game, it's well worth it.
Plus you need a Online pass to play multiplayer to begin with. I don't see a keygen coming out for it.
There are three pirate deterrents put in place.
1) Origin Boot U...
Exactly, I'm glad there is an online pass and you have to use Origin and battlelog to launch the singleplayer and mutiplayer, fuck pirates. Good job EA and DICE. Just don't let the Xbox or PS3 versions leak and you're good.
And Call of Duty didn't bring anything new to the FPS genre of what it is today on consoles. The game that did that was Halo. Halo: Combat Evolved had kill streaks, and a stat tracking system long before Call Of Duty 4, came into the picture.
The only thing I can think of that Call of Duty has brought to the table is...Assets you are able to call in with your kill streaks and perks, that's about it.
You don't need kill streaks in Battlefield beca...
Sigh...wrong again. Battlefield 1942 Challenged Call of Duty when Call of Duty was still a PC only title.
Battlefield changed the face of FPS gaming combining large maps, vehicular warfare, and Infantry combat.
Many games used the same idea such as Planet side, Halo Series, MAG, Far Cry, Soldiner: Combat Arms, Command and Conquer Renegade, and Crysis 1.
Battlefield 1942 was one of the first games to implement these features into a multipla...
Ehh, no biggy. A game with this much hype and being centered around Multiplayer game play...this isn't going to effect sales too much.
Unless the people that download it are Singleplayer only gamers and suck at Multiplayer and only wanted to play the SP.
@0neShot
Are you a moron or what? Battlefield 2 was released on June 21st, 2005.
Call of Duty 4 was released on November 5th, 2007. 2 years after Battlefield 2.
Battlefield 2 had an extensive ranking system and weapon unlocks 2 years before the Call of Duty series decided to bring their asses out of the WWII era.
Before your 14 year old ass decides to spew crap out of your mouth, do some research.

Grandma?

Firstly, Battlefield 3 is not BF1943, BC1, or BC2...It's Battlefield 3, a sequal to Battlefield 2. If you played the beta, which you probably did. It plays nothing like the Bad Company series.
Secondly, the retail version of the game is going to have squad management. Making playing with friends easier than the beta version of the game.
You fail at trolling, good day sir.
Has anyone else noticed that alot of people that are going to buy MW3 or who have bought any Call of duty game for that matter mostly say "I'm buying it because all my mates play it." And "All my friends play it, day 1 buy." How about instead of being a follower be a leader, buy the game for yourself or don't buy it at all.
On topic...Couldn't see a difference. Just in color now instead of IR...less authentic. I'll wait for it to be discoun...
I think it's too under hyped, needs more hype. Caspian Border on the beta showed me that.
I'll probably get disagrees and lose a bubble or two. But people...buy the games new or wait until they drop in price. Save your money, coupons, giftcards, and wait for discounts/sales. Stop acting poor and man up and save your damn money.
In the time you waited for someone to be stupid and trade in their used copy to gamestop in the first place, you could have saved up and bought it new or waited for a promotional discount...target, newegg, frys, and toys r us do them al...
Just when the 57fwy turns into the 60fwy, By Temple when you are going toward Hacienda Heights. There is a billboard on the left hand side, opposite lane when crossing over the bridge before Temple close to Mt. SAC.
Day 1 buy right here...=P
Going to have to play it in between breaks of Battlefield 3.
