Don't forget the Power Rangers. :-)
OT: What pisses me off the most is when digital downloads of games cost the same or in some cases, much higher than the physical copy.
Childish?!
I think you've misread my comment. I wasn't bashing it.
A hardcore game is a game that isn't going to make itself easy for the satisfaction of the inexperienced gamer.
It expects you to man up and grow a pair of balls - big ones. It's going to punish the weak and reward the strong. It's wants you to whip horses with chainsaws and drink oil while wearing army boots. It wants you to have knife fights with sailors with girls names and it wants you to eat metal for breakfast.
Now if you'll excuse me, i must go and com...
Don't be ridiculous. Just because it's exclusive and made by Sony (or anyone else), does not guarantee it any success.
If these companies want our money, then they should earn it and not expect fanboys to fork over cash just because their name is attached to it.
From Derek-Flints comment at the top....
"Leaping through windows in slow motion while
simultaneously spinning
around and blasting enemies is great fun."
*runs out the front door and down the road to Gamestop*
"Now, if you think yourself so clever as to find all 34 hidden links"
Well, i was clever enough to quit out of your website and not give you 34 extra hits.
How's that for a surprise.
The only thing i'm worried about is the touch controls. I heard/read that they are too forced onto the player and unnecessary at times.
That very question could be asked to the people who think that it's going to be a great controller, you know.
The truth is none of us know until we try it for ourselves.
10 pages for 10 characters.
Screw that. I don't even care who's on their list now.
Menus and Save/Load screens, for example.
FIXED.
Everytime i see that thing in the article image, i just want to punch it's dumb face in.
Because we haven't found any faceless ones.
"This thing looks like a piece of crap, i'd never use this junk"
That's what i thought when i first saw it, but now that i've seen some videos and all-angle screenshots and have a mental feel for it (if that makes any sense), i think it can be used for hardcore games.
I doubt ads would pop up while you are playing, that would be insanely annoying.
They would likely show up where they wouldn't effect gameplay, menus and Save/Load screens for example.
Those hard working journalists you speak of are in the minority. You cant deny the fact that most game journalists are idiot fanboys who write nothing but drivel.
Also, i can guarantee you that by Friday next week, the internet will be flooded, and i mean FLOODED, with "The Top 10 Booth Babes Of E3" articles. You know this just as much as i do.
If there are any of you hard working journalists reading this, i want you to know that your work is greatly appreciated, ...
"What does a game journalist do at E3?"
Well, there are two answers to this question.
1) He/She watches the show then writes on His/Her magazine/website about how crap it was.
2) He/She watches the show, gets free stuff, and writes on His/Her magazine/website about how awesome it was.
RIIIIIDDGGGEE RAAA....oh wait.
Assassins Creed 3 on:
PS3 = Multiplatform.
XBOX 360 = Multiplatform.
PC = Multiplatform.
Vita = PORT ALERT!!! Call the port police!!!
Wii U = Multiplatform.
LOL, this website makes me laugh.
Sony and Nintendo actually benefitted from each other.
It's called competition, people. Without it, the game industry would have died ages ago. Sony and Nintendo have forced each other to be better. There's no clear answer to the question being asked here, but fanboys will pick their sides as always and declare their company of choice to be superior.
Oh nice, the game goes into slow-mo for the secondary fire touch screen parts, i didn't know that. :-)
I'm definately buying this now. +1 Helpful bubble for you. Thanks. :-)
