When Christmas time is around, I'm going to buy Skyrim on Steam. There is too much lag for my likings on PS3 and that texture streaming issue tends to freeze up my game.
PS3 has A LOT of frame rate issues. The game is still great, But it's the last game from Bethesda I am buying for console.
