I think most people looking to just play games and don't have a lot of money will still go for the Xbox 360. New Arcade at Amazon.com for $179.96. That sure leaves a lot of money left to buy the best games!
If you check out Amazon.com Halo 3 ODST is in the best selling #11 spot. I guess that mean pre-orders are selling fairly well!
Is this another JOKE! I keep waiting for all thoes great PS3 games. Until then, I will be playing great 360 games.
My pre-order at Amazon = (Available for Pre-order. This item will be released on Dec 29, 2009.) It looks like I will be playing Forza 3 the year but not GT5.
When you want to purchase an item and you think the price is to high, you just don't buy it. MS is in business to make money not give everything away for free. When a store buys an item to sell they mark it up to make a profit, usually around 40%. It is the same for MS, they purchase an item and mark it up to sell on live. Same as all the stores you shop at.
Don't be a fool and believe all this trash. I have never had a problem and know of only 1 person that's had to send there launch console in for repairs.
Even if all these stories were true the 360 is still the better console by a long shot!

I won't know, I will be to busy playing all the better 360 games! Halo 3 ODST, Forza, Magna Carta 2, Left4Dead2 and a lot of better MP games. THe only PS3 game I have pre-ordered is Uncharted 2.
I own both (PS3/360) consoles and unless you blind everyone know that the 360 is the better console, period!
My original PS3 20 gig console get used very little. I also own a MGS PS3 so I guess that why Sonys sales figures are so high with people buying more that one console.
This is real funny, everyone please hold your breath. The one thing I know for sure is that I will be playing a better racing game on a different console before I am able to play GT5.
If your any kind of racing fan you will own both games!
With all the many great game available and coming out for the PS3, i'm sure glad I also own a 360 to fill in the huge gaps between games.
The 360 and PC version is call "Two Worlds: The Temptation". I guess the PS3 version is going to be call, "Two Worlds: We Don't Want It".
Two Worlds was really a good game if you were smart enough to understand how to play it, most people weren't. I'm looking forward to the next one.
People don't like to pay for all the extra sh$$ that comes with the PS3. For less than $200 you can own the better 360, that's what people look at!
Well if it is lame, and you purchase it, you only throw away $39.95 instead of $59.95.
The best I have seen yet, looks better than GT5! Can't wait to give it a test spin.
Sorry, but it's SONY fault, there the lazy ones that won't write a operationg system/game engine that's easy to use. Game companies want to develope games not operating systems.
For people that don't know a game engine is nothing more than a extension of the operating system, these routines make designing a game better, faster, and easier.
This is really funny, I could care less which one is better, both will be at least good games. One thing I do know people will be playing Forza 3 way before GT5. I wonder if GT5 will ever be released, makes one think they might be having a little trouble with the PS3.
