I thought the same thing. Also, why would they set it up in the "Lawn & Garden" section? Lol
American Dream trophy/achievement isn't glitched.
You must buy a property from the Internet on your phone, as the trophy/achievement won't unlock if you buy one from the "For Sale" signs in front of the various properties dotted around the map.
This is what I did in single player as well. Maxed out Driving and Stealth for my online character so far
