Exactly, Mordor is the most innovative game I have played in recent years and that 6/10 was a shambles.
They can have their opinion but that does not mean it is free of scrutiny when they gave what is effectively a dynasty warriors game a higher score.
The to give this hide and seek game an 8.5? Big Aliens fan and no doubt the game will be fun but it is no GOTY contender like Mordor.

They needed those resources freed up to run that Nemesis system.
This truly is the best game I have played all year.
Basically this translated as....
"This averagely difficult game was far to hard for me and I completely missed the whole point of the NEMESIS system."
This title is revolutionary for AI in video games and is the first truly next gen title game play wise.
Remains to be seen, there is very little dev support even for Windows 8.1 at the minute and 8.1 still has compatibility issues with games.
Very few developers are even using DX 11.2
This honestly looks like a poverty version of destroy all monsters.

They do not use down sampling in game, there is no option for it.
So many jaggies.
I would bet my bottom dollar that the GTA V PC port is terrible and borderline unplayable on release just like GTA IV despite all that extra time they are taking to apparently make the PC version better.
This game does not even begin to ultilise a PCs power properly at all.
The textures for all the VRAM they use are quite low resolution, they are just uncompressed which is why they take up so much VRAM.
The game also has no AA method or option and does not allow for AA to be forced through the Nvidia control panel.
This is not a good PC port so comparisons are fruitless when clearly the lead platform was PS4 by a mile.

Sorry but it is bad optimization when 6GB "ULTRA HD" textures look worse than textures from a title like Metro Last Light which is over a year old at this point and it uses far less VRAM.
A game with way better textures which recently released is the vanishing of ethan carter which has amazing textures and it only uses 1GB of VRAM>

Maybe its something to do with seeing if the doubling of the VRAM from high to Ultra is really worth it.
Seems in this case it really isn't and just another case of bad optimisation.
Playstation hardly won last gen with that cell processor that ran multiplats like crap.
No idea why the differences have become such an issue this gen as last gen the PS3 had to run multiplat games in lower res and with terrible frames.
It was just a fact multiplats ran better on 360.
The PS4 version is likely the best and most stable.
The PC version is riddled with bugs and the game will not even start for me when I click play.
I managed to get it working then I reinstalled to try to fix the sound error....
Now I am back to square 1 and this is the end of day 2 into day 3 and there has not been a single official word on a patch of any sort.

Typical....WB games has a great product and they go and ruin it through underhanded techniques...publishers really need to check themselves coming in to this gen.
It didn't stop him highlighting the big issues with the game and being honest with his audience plus he just shout casted for them at a few events.

Yeah definitely although I would say I prefer mordors combat because it feels grittier and is far more violent thanks to those amazing executions.
The animations in mordor are also top notch as well and I think the wraith powers really lend to it and mix it up. There is nothing more badass than teleporting to an Uruk and slicing its head off then teleporting to his friend who is dumbstruck and doing the same.
