E3 is right around the corner and here I am stuck once again in my cycle of life. Earn money, take care of kid, and hang out with the family. But I almost forget. I have to spend some time with the Playstation 4, but that will be difficult considering there are no compelling games to play. Oh well back to collecting dust I suppose.
In all seriousness my Playstation 3 and Wii U have been getting a lot of game time lately. With the variety of games available on my Wii U that I have yet to complete and the backlog of unfinished games on my PS3 I often question the purchase of my PS4. I mean the whole point of buying the system was to play next gen games. But most of those games seem to be shooters and sports games. I am sorry but Watch Dogs was a major disappointment and while Wolfenstein is good it’s over too soon.
Ah! But E3 is here and so now it is once again time to get excited. Many of the games being announced across all platforms seem interesting. But three games stand out amongst the abyss of to be announced titles. These three games are Bayonetta, X and 1886 The Order. Two of three of these games are Wii U exclusives, while one is heading over the PS4. Bayonetta will most certainly impress and X while not much has been said about it other than a few tidbits here and there it has got me excited considering Xenoblade was such an awesome game in every right. As for 1886 this game is going to be good, I can just feel it.
But what about the announced titles at E3. Will we finally see a game that justified the purchase of the PS4 or even the XBONE. Only time will tell I suppose. In any case let me know what you guys are excited for and why. Me personally I am hoping that either Shenmue 3 gets announced (wish full thinking I know) or Virtua Fighter 6. I will settle for either one.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
