More Recently, rumors have been spreading that Sony's IPTV and Msoft's IPTV services will be available soon. I have been thinking, if these two services deliver a lot of content and possible low monthly fees(maybe none at all supposedly true for Sony's IPTV service aside from a possible accessory), could this really give competition to cable and satellite companies? From the sounds of it, both will offer digital and HD broadcasting and dvr features. While videogames are very mainstream they still are increasingly getting more prevalent and console prices drop, could this really hurt cable and satellite companies?
Or will these services not offer much content?
