Raz Review: "Call of Juarez is to this generation what Gun was to the last one. It's a Western, a classic tale of greed vs. love, and is well written and voiced. Slow-mo moments, a variety of weapons and tools, two different characters to play through the story with, horseback riding, showdowns...it's got everything. Even a Civil War flashback segment to play through.
Showdowns in particular are tricky. You've got to keep your enemy in focus, because he'll be shufflin' around to get a bead on you. You've got to keep your hand near your gun, but not too close 'cause you can't draw till the church bell rings high noon.
There's money to be made, and better quality shooters to buy. Good for what it is, but this game is still somewhat one dimensional. Kill stuff. Showdown. Cutscene. Repeat with a different gun."
