Raz Review: "Like so many sequels, R2 doesn't feel all that much
different from its predecessor. There's some graphical and technical
improvements to the weapons, and a few new ones have been added to your
arsenal.
The storyline progresses further, the graphics look a
bit sharper, but all in all it feels like another episode of the same
thing (which is, I suppose, what Insomniac was going for). Mind you,
the original was pretty good to begin with, so imitating it isn't
necessarily a bad thing.
The real coolness of R2, however, comes
in the multiplayer online games - where you can upgrade and rank up as
your choice of Medic, SpecOps or Soldier in Co-op mode, or head over to
Competitive mode and play some deathmatches or Capture the Flag games.
All things considered, it's fun, addictive, and really well put together."

Ben Fellows: "Nioh 3 represents the series at its most refined and confident. Combat is precise, expressive, and endlessly rewarding, while open-field design gives the world room to breathe without sacrificing focus. Crucibles deliver punishing, carefully balanced challenges that reward preparation and mastery in equal measure."

An open-world design makes the series bigger, bolder, and better than ever

Developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo, Nioh 3 is at once both bitterly dark and beautifully vibrant. Letting players tear through the world with their fighting style of choice, it’s a Soulslike built on flexibility.
