The PlayStation 3, one of the most powerful machines on the market right now, born in November 2006 and the third home video game console produced by Sony Computer Entertainment, successor to the PlayStation 2 as part of the PlayStation series. The PlayStation 3 competes with the Xbox 360 and Wii as part of the so called Next Generation of video game consoles. With it's powerful Cell Processor and it's Blu-Ray disc integrated drive the Ps3 was bound to be the revolutionary machine of it's generation, but things have not come easy for it, with the console war getting tighter than ever and the economy getting worst and worst the ps3 is just trying to fight it's way to the top. But it's the Ps3 only competing against The Xbox 360 and Wii? the answer is no, the ps3 is competing against it's own maker as well, SONY.
It looks like Sony could not get things harder for it's creation, leaving exclusive games get stolen by microsoft, not doing enought efford on tv commercial ads, Pricing and last but not least leaving another console on the market to compete against the Ps3, the Ps2. Can somebody explain to me what is the Ps2 still doing alive, even if the Ps2 is still putting good numbers on the market and Sony really wanted for the Ps3 to sell better the Ps2 would have been gone a long time ago, why not force people to go ps3, why not just include backward compatibility one more time, continue to sell ps2 softwares for people that don't have a ps3 yet and there it is the ps3 will sell a lot better, one less competition on the market, and everybody will be happy but i guess that this is not what sony want, what they want is to get every single dollar they can get and screw the ps3, but hey they are a multibillion dollar company is not just some guy like me that's gonna tell them how to business, maybe they know what they are doing and maybe not. hope i'm wrong, it will be would sad to watch so a wonderfull machines die and so fast.
Sorry Ps3, but if your own family is not helping you, i'm affraid you'll just have a hard knock life.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
