With 2.40 finally out, and I do mean finally. We are all enjoying in-game-messanging... Two things I can think of right now that are making us mad, are not quite on Sony's shoulders.
3rd party AND 2nd party devs. Capcom, Infinity Ward, Ubisoft, Insomniac, Game Republic, Konami. They all need to start patching some of this stuff. It cant be that hard to patch a game for music and trophy support... Why will they not do it?
IW posted saying they have no plans to do this. My qustion is why not? They have alot of members of CoD4 and they are not gonna patch it?
Insomniac who I was expecting to support this said they have no plans. They have two games on the PS3. And yet they are not gonna do a thing for it?
Ubisoft... Okay, I'll call a blank here. I never expected them to do anything. I am still waiting for the AC DLC they said they would launch.
Game Rebuplic. Most of you are prolly wondering why they are up here. Well, truth is, they stayed very active with Folklore DLC. So why not a patch?
Konami, MGS4 needs trophy support. I hope they make a statment for this soon.
Capcom. I contacted Capcom yesterday about DMC4. They said it is possable. But no plans right now. Well. I hope they get plans soon. DMC4 is the only game I can think of with Acheivments in it. So I was expecting them to go for trophies as well.
What has gotten into the devs of late? Why are they too lazy to do this?
On a closing note. I tip my hat to Naughty Dog, Criterion Games, and Ingognito for giving the gamers what they want, and not shunning the idea of a simple patch.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
Some developers i can't blame at all because although it may seem like a simple patch that'll take maybe a day to code and put out, they're probably on a strict schedule for other titles to drop. Some other though, I don't believe. IW could've patched COD for Rumble when it was first announced last year, but didn't. I never expected them to do sh!t this time around when it comes to trophies. Capcom is kind of inbetween for me. They've been a pretty shady developer this gen across all formats, and I wonder if it's really them having no time for the patch or them realizing no one plays DMC4 anymore so they won't bother.
But that comes with past iterations. It will seem like a small amount wants to take the time to make the patch, but at least future games will more than likely have them.
