Xbox One ain't winning the current gen "dedicated home gaming console".
What happen when 2 big company does when they're losing, they merge. In Microsoft case, is it the Xbox One and Windows 10, thus Windows Gaming Console. Few people argue "Windows Gaming Console" won't work. but then why HP, DELL still making PC? Because it's profitable.
$499 AMD R9 Nano 8.19 TFLOPS maybe a bit less than 10, AMD Polaris is coming. Talking about price and cost, buying separate Work PC and Gaming Console is waste of computing power. When you work PC, your gaming console isn't making your work done faster, when you play on console, your PC aren't improving your gaming experience.
Noobs would argue $499 is expensive for "gaming console", but Windows Gaming Console got Window and operating system that can run windows software. Windows Gaming Console, is Workstation + Gaming Console(Previously known as Xbox). Buying Windows Gaming Console is also buying Windows Work PC.
Windows Gaming Console, is a gaming PC with "Console Price" advantage. Arguments that 10 TFLOPS gaming console would be too expensive, is does not if it also a Windows PC Workstation. You can both work, game, with gaming console/workstation. Wording got difficult, so let's just called PC(with gaming console Console Price).
$799 10 TFLOPS PC with gaming console Console Price, How is that possible, when the GPU like AMD R9 nano is $499? By using gaming console production model, and buying things in bulk. You get individual things cheaper if you buy it in bulk. This is also how DELL, HP make profit from selling pre-built PCs.
Other note, with USB type-c, Windows Gaming Console is upgradeable, improving both work and gaming. Nintendo NX + supplemental computing device doomed?
In Conclusion, $799 10 TFLOPS Windows Gaming Console could be sell to both workers and gamers, revitalizing Windows OS, Windows Gaming(RIP xbox), Windows Workstation, DirectX 12, which Xbox originally meant to do ie. improve Windows.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
