PS3 has 256mb of GDDR3 ram at 700 mhz and 256mb of XDR ram at 3.2ghz. In total ps3 has 512mb of ram . RSX has full access to the XDR ram (provided 32mb is kept for OS ).
ps3 has 512kb of L1 cache and 256kb of L2 cache per spe. In total ps3 has 2.3mb of CACHE memory
X360 has just 1mb of shared cache memory.Additional cache ensures frequent direct and indirect mapping
XDR works by a pointer to pointer technology and unlike x360 RSX has two buses one for GDDR3 at 128bit and one for XDR at 64bit.

XDR works by a pointer to pointer technology and needs very small buswidth for execution. It transfers data in the form of multiple small packets rather than a whole chunk (as in case of GDDR3). XDR has very low latency and is way more efficient that GDDR3/GDDR4. a 16 bit bus is usually enough for XDR .
Because of the difference in latency and speed of the 2 rams devs sometimes cannot synchronize the rama allocation concurrently . Hopefully this will be fixed in the upcoming SDK revision

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
