Artplant is an independent game studio out of Norway. Previously focusing on MMO games, including Battlestar Galactica Online and G.I.JOE Special Ops, the company has released their first FPS game, Block N Load.

Block N Load is a 5v5 online FPS. The catch? You have to protect what you build. Build up fortifications using blocks, work together to prevent your opponents from destroying your fortifications while destroying theirs. No two games will play the same.

Why do you make games?
Games have always captured my attention in a way nothing else could, and at some level making a game can be a lot like playing one. You are presented with a set of goals and have to make decisions about how to spend your limited resources to best achieve those goals. Development has its own kinds of puzzles and challenges, each of which leads to difficult decisions or creative solutions. Perhaps I make games because creating them is the ultimate sandbox.
Why should people play titles from Artplant?
We try to give players an online experience unlike any they have played before. We do our best to create titles with unique and compelling elements, as an indie developer I think it is crucial to give players something that they find interesting.
What element of game design do you hold above all others?
For me the most important thing is keeping in mind that game design is ultimately about people. Games are less about numbers and visuals and more about how people think and feel. With that principle in mind you can put yourself in the player’s shoes and see your game as they will see it, which guides designs in the proper direction.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.
Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

This game is seriously awesome. I have been playing it since it came out. It's not really Minecraft. But sort of looks like it. Good team game.
