Grefsrud seems like a unique person, I'll give him that. It's good to have both innovative guys and iterative guys as developers. Their game seems to be bound by an old and tried genre at the roots, but with their own unique twist added to the way the gameplay unfolds.

I hope Myriad does well. I can especially see the Vita being a good platform for it. Just make it compatible with the stick controls as well, so the PlayStation TV doesn't make it entirely redundant.

The game reminds me of a kaleidoscope, those toy scopes that you look through then twist the end to make the the colors and shapes change.

The desing of this game kinda reminds me of Everyday Shooter, but Myriad is much more great looking! Also the "destroying worlds" concept seems like to be a lot of fun! I only need a gameplay videos now

Is it possible for the admins at n4g to make a seperate window on the main page for these indie segments? Don't get me wrong: I love indie more than the crappy "AAA" games that think they are movies & forgot how to just be games; BUT these indie posts on n4g are pushing away the user blogs out of view. I think that's unfair seeing how hard some users worked on their user blogs despite juggling work, college, families, etc. Let's have separate areas for everything: Blog, Indie spotlight, Forums, Reviews, Top contributors, etc.

The Game looks really imaginative

It's a nice intro to a very cool game developing team. The website has a few screenshots but no gameplay to be found.
It just adds to the mystery surrounding what the game is trying to accomplish. It sounds ambitious, hopefully it gets well executed.
Perhaps their artistic perspective will give us something unexpected, sometimes words limit what our imagination can do.

I always wanted to play a game where the music changes the playing field live. Sounds cool :D

That's a very interesting response. We don't usually think of Kinaesthetics when we think of game design.

So you conduct the music in Myriad as well as play it? I wonder how that works... it must require some good multitasking by the player to play an action game at the same time :D And that's really cool that the game stores your gameplay sessions so you can share them. Myriad looks like a beautiful game; it just has such a eye catching look to it!

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
