Mutated-Monster-Humanoid Creatures

I'm getting tired of this trend of mutated-monster-humanoid creatures.

I just started to play Uncharted. I know it has been out for a while, but I wanted to try it out as it is a PS3 classic that has gotten a lot of praise within the PS3 community. So I went out and bought it yesterday. All was good, I played through most of the chapters and enjoyed every second. Until now.

I just finished part of the game where some sort of random mutated-monster-humanoid creatures start coming out of no where from within the vault. Now I'm making my way towards the generator to power it up. Now I have to kill mutated-monster-humanoid creatures... I'm so disappointed. I thought I was going to enjoy a nice Action Adventure game with absolutely no horror elements. Now it feels like I'm playing a wanna-be Resident Evil.

This trend has to stop. I didn't like it when I played Halo for my first time, and I loathed it in Half-Life 2 (I know in both games they fit the story, but it could have been avoided). If I want to play a horror game with mutated-monster-humanoid creatures, I'll play Resident Evil or Dead Space... where mutated-monster-humanoid creatures belong! Mutated-monster-humanoid creatures DO NOT belong in a game like Uncharted!

The graphics in Uncharted are great, the puzzle solving and climbing elements are good since they fit the theme. The voice acting and cinematic touches were great also. The enemies were getting repetitive, but if there's anything I hate more than repetitive enemies is adding mutated-monster-humanoid creatures in where they don't belong. I don't even know If I want to finish the game now. What were you thinking Naughty Dog?

I think every game needs to pick their enemies; human soldiers, alien soldiers, or mutated-monster-humanoid creatures, stick with one of them, and put a lot of diversity into them. There are other ways to put horror elements (if it is absolutely necessary to the story) in sci-fi and action/adventure games. Be a little more creative ffs.

I'm looking forward to Killzone 2 a lot, but if they put mutated-monster-humanoid creatures in it, I'm going to shove a .357 in my mouth.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
