As most of you here that are reading this, I am a Playstation fan and have been since the PS1 but that never stopped me from enjoying other consoles and discussing even the ones I don't like fairly such as the Wii U. Why am I mentioning this? Because as a Playstation fan I am embarrassed to say N4G is probably one of the worst places on the internet for video game discussion and here's why.
The bubble system is beyond flawed, why do you ask? It lets users silence those opinions they don't like. This is especially problematic in a site like N4G where a large majority of it's fanbase is composed of Playstation fans. For an example if a Nintendo or Xbox fan makes a post that isn't positive about Playstation they risk losing bubbles, in fact I've seen this happen numerous of times.
This isn't good for healthy or balanced discussion and tilts the discussion heavily in favor of what is popular on this site, which is Playstation. It doesn't matter if I make great points in a discussion the masses of fans will simply disagree/bubble me down because they aren't voting fairly and is voting purely based on what their bias is. This also results in Playstation fans having more bubbles than the other fanbases, often times giving them the last word in since the other person can't even give a response.
This system needs a revision if N4G wants to promote a balanced and varied discussion, if not it'll continue the trend of preaching to the choir. I know this may upset some of you and I don't expect to see many that agree with me here but I think it's important that I voice my opinion.

Masters of Albion appears to be a culmination of Molyneux’s career but will this be a redemption arc for the developer?

Press Start: "Saros is an utterly sizzling romp through a sci-fi cosmic horror show that showcases Housemarque’s pedigree for spectacular, arcade action. Not only is Saros a user-friendly evolution of Returnal's core systems, which were already near-perfection, but it’s an exceptional, technical showpiece for a console that makes faultless performance seem magical. If Returnal was a reason to invest in next-gen, Saros pays that belief off again in what is currently a one-horse race for Game of the Year."

The Epic Games Store's weekly free game is dark and drear, and definitely doomed.
Completely agree with you. One of the many reasons i find N4G to be garbage.
And as for the report about it being short, shorter blogs have been posted before for an example

With that said I don't really think my blog will get approved, and I don't blame you. What other site would publish a blog that's critical of the site on the front page?
Great summary of whats wrong with this site. I would like to add that stories that are flamebait are rewarded with the highest degrees of exposure. This just gives clicks to terrible "journalists"(if you even want to call them that). N4G is like a cesspool of fanboyism. It needs to change, but it wont. The owner of this site is profiting too much off the backs of fanboys.
