Early this morning, a community manager of the Arkham Knight forum at WB games' official website addressed the requests for two fan-favorite skins. The first one is the Arkham Knight skin for one of the playable characters which he is, quite obviously, already in the base game. The other is the Harley Quinn skin in the 'Matter of Family' DLC. Yes, I know, it is technically not disc-locked, but whoever buys this $6.99 DLC won't be able to use that skin for her in challenge mode.
Instead of releasing both of these skins to the deserving community, the community manager of the Arkham Knight forum, CODA, announced:
"We’re aware that a lot of fans here in the community are asking for the chance to play with Harley Quinn’s classic look from Batgirl: A Matter of Family, and others would like the chance to play as Red Hood in his uniform as the Arkham Knight.
Sefton and I were talking about this earlier, and he told me that while we didn’t plan for either of these to be playable in the game, we may be able to find some resources somewhere to make one of them into a character skin. Whether we’re able to do this all depends on how widespread the demand is, and which character is most popular."
They are making is vote for only one of them until the 30th, and it is utterly ridiculous for them to have made these characters without any plans for their skins to be released. Then again they didn't have planned the popular character selection feature they released earlier this month (which is very very bland due to the lack of work done on anyone who isn't Bruce Wayne.)
Even if they didn't have these skins planned, these assets have been created months ago. I don't see what's so hard about releasing BOTH of them since they are already made. So instead of having these skins for our two fan-favorites, I assume they are working on their umpteenth Batman/Batmobile skin...and remember folks: if these skins don't get enough votes, they won't release either of them! Wow Rocksteady. You are amazing.

EDIT: If you truly want to take a stand, go tweet #TeamClassicHarleyAndArkhamKni ght and mention @RocksteadyGames. If that doesn't work then try to balance out the poll. Help them understand that both of these skins need to be given out. Thanks.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

This useless DLC skin community vote was posted in the General Discussion—not Spoiler Zone—while PC people were still waiting to play the game. They're complete F-ups. Sure, shame on us if we go to the General and fellow community members ruin something, but a damn employee of Rocksteady? Gtfo. Totally unprofessional and inconsiderate.
I love how they make out it will be difficult to make the skins "we may be able to find some resources somewhere". They're more than happy to pump out that crap for preorders but when you've already paid for a season pass it's all oh well you're going to have to choose one or the other because of resources. F*** you rocksteady. I'm so glad I never bought the new batman. Arkham asylum was amazing and as soon as Warner Brothers noticed how popular it was they started with the BS. Got to love those AAA companys. They have the most cash yet seem to make out they're always broke and need you to preorder or buy extra skins or microtransactions. How about budgeting your game accordingly? Releasing a finished product? Or even giving the customer value for money? No you have to choose between these two skins. Uh rant over.
