That's pretty awful, but I still think they do have a few great reviewers. The Australian guy who does the driving games is one of the best reviewers around.

Imitation is the purest form of flattery, but this IGN reviewer needs to be reprimanded.

Blatant copying but I think the bigger issue is - why was a video review posted before the embargo lifted for ALL video and written reviews which lifted yesterday? Unless he did it and omitted the score? Either way - it was clearly mentioned that all reviews of any kind were under the embargo - something they seemed to ignore?

I remember some study looking at Plagiarism in professional papers, finding that it is rampant.

In schools they're so highly against plagiarism that it's gotten ridiculous. I know someone who was away from internet for long periods of time while doing an online class, so she would go online and save the questions she had to answer for any given week to a computer and answer them offline, then upload them at the end of the week. Well apparently the teacher changed some of the questions at some point after the class has started because she sent an e-mail saying that the student's answers were based on last year's version of the question and they therefore *must* be plagiarized from last year. Even though she was on the other half of the country and there was absolutely no other reason to suspect that the answers were plagiarized, she had to have a skype meeting with the school board about it. I've also had teachers tell my class that sharing notes with other students is academic dishonesty and could lead to disciplinary action.

Once you're out of school it's like no one even bothers to check.

Possibly a coincidence,though their descriptions are somewhat the same but with some different wording.50/50. On another note Dead Cells is addictive but frustrating in a good way.I played when it released 3am on PSN until 7:30am,thank God I'm still on vacation from work...lol.

Corporations, man. They know they can get away with anything while the little guy struggling to make a living gets the shift. It pays to get your reviews out quickly too, beat the competition to it! IGN is slow to get reviews out a lot of the time. But, IGN somehow manages to keep going after all of the issues they've had over the last while, not exactly a just world we live in.... Liberals.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
