These nominations will result in the options next week when we hold the actual poll to select the Game of the Year winners.

You could also win a $100 Amazon Gift Card

Three people will be randomly chosen from valid entries to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card (US, UK, or CA).

To enter to win just complete the poll embedded below using your current N4G e-mail address and reply to this post that you have completed the poll. At the end of the week, when the poll is closed, three random winners will be selected from those who entered.

I found out how to stop the redirects from Chrome on this site. It really works. Go to this page for instructions

http://www.androidpolice.co...

.lI have been using it for a week and it's working so far. Thank God

fenome2958d ago

So that really works? Looks kind of sketchy and I don't want my phone to get worse but these redirects are killing me!

WilliamSheridan2958d ago

So far it works... You get a notification on the bottom of chrome saying it was blocked. It seems to be a hyperlink to some kind of settings. There is probably another way to get there, but bottom line it's working.

WilliamSheridan2958d ago

It doesn't require installing anything...

fenome2958d ago

Cool, thanks! I'll try it out

fenome2958d ago (Edited 2958d ago )

Thank you!! I haven't been redirected once since I enabled that. Seriously, thanks.

WilliamSheridan2958d ago

I'm glad I could help! Apparently this has been a feature of Chrome for some time now... So much better.

Metacritic Removes Resident Evil 9 Review From Fake AI Writer

Kotaku writes: "A Resident Evil Requiem review published by long-standing UK gaming news site Videogamer has been removed from Metacritic after readers pointed out it was written by a fake AI journalist who doesn’t actually exist. Videogamer‘s human masthead was gutted last week, sources tell Kotaku, and the site has been publishing apparent genAI slop ever since."

Genuinely well done on metacritic for taking such an immediate hard stance. Not often, if at all, you see that these days. Credit where it’s due.
